Each starter set contains all of the equipment necessary for you
to operate 2 trains independently.
Because the Digitrax Starter Sets are sold around the world power
supplies are not included. In North America Digitrax recommends purchasing a power
supply rated at 6 amps and delivering up to 24 volts AC or DC. At Southern Digital
we can supply you with this recommended Digitrax PS-515. You can also use your existing power pack to supply the Starter Set with
power initially. Caution: Because your existing power pack was designed to only
operate 2 to 3 locomotives it will fall short of the power requirements. We highly
recommend buying the Digitrax PS-515 power supply to get maximum capability out of your new
Digitrax Starter Set.
Each Starter Set will contain:
1 Command Station/Power Booster
1 Throttle
1 Decoder & LocoNet ® test kit
1 Command Station and Throttle instruction manual
1 Decoder instruction manual
1 Warrantee Card.
(An external power supply will be required and is not
provided in the starter set, your existing transformer will be adequate in the beginning)
