All of the Digitrax Decoders ever produced
are upwardly compatible. From the original DN-82 and DH-83 decoders up to today's
advanced DCC decoders they all work. On our Southern Digital layout we are still
running some DN-82 decoders in consists with DN-140 decoders. The DN-82 decoders are
over 5 years old now and keep on ticking!
Digitrax Decoders are compatible with ALL
Digital Command Control (DCC) systems. In addition Digitrax Starter Sets will work
with any other NMRA compliant DCC decoder.
